The Avet MXJ G2 Lever Drag Fishing Reels area powerhouse of reels, especially for their size. It boasts 20lbs of drag at full which is enough for at least a 50lb tuna with micro braided line. For a fishing reel this small, that is very impressive. With 400 yards of 50 pound regular 4 carrier braid, you have the capacity and torque of a much larger reel.

The solid aluminum frame won’t flex under a load and the superior carbon fiber drag washers will stand up to a long fight. We like this reel for the light weight, extreme durability, nice line capacity, and nice free-spool. As with any of the Avet reels, you get bang for your buck and a reel that will last you for many years to come.
