The Jackson Back Slide Kraken is a squid imitation soft plastic that does a really good job of that. Its durable soft plastic material is concentrated in the body to increase the castability and also ensure the body sinks first if unweighted, allowing the free flowing tentacles to flutter behind and better mimic a swimming squid.

These plastics can be used both unweighted or weighted with a simple jig head depending on the water depth your fishing and your style of fishing. They’re great for use around reefs, rocky outcrops and weedy areas for fish like snapper and kingfish.
