Upon entering the water, its high-pitched action attracts bass hidden in walls or structures by the flashing created by its semi-flat body, prompting them to bite. How to retrieve

Straight retrieving is commonplace. For fishing around structure, try a “Stop and Go” retrieve by rotating the handle half or twice before allowing the bait to drift. Allow ample time for the bass to recognize the lure. If the bass identify the bait is artificial, it may be advantageous to provoke a bite with a dog walk or subtle twitches and slow retrieves. Such approaches have yielded satisfactory results.
